In the 4th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, 武建松 took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. 韩伟岚 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th minute of the match, 武建松 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 18th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when 武建松 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 武建松 came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when 武建松 sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when 武建松 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute 韩伟岚 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Kaczor got free with Benito Sanz in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ziemowit Kaczor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 韩伟岚 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as 韩伟岚 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugeniusz Charlos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After having played for 38 minutes, Ziemowit Kaczor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piast Choszczno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziemowit Kaczor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 韩伟岚 in the 41st minute of play. 韩伟岚 succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, 韩伟岚 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and 韩伟岚 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Nathan Carrier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If 武建松 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Nathan Carrier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Nathan Carrier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Eugeniusz Charlos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 武建松 in the 84th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Piast Choszczno's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Axel Tasis made a great header on Costa Rica's corner, it was just that Piast Choszczno's Eugeniusz Charlos managed to reach the ball for a save. Eugeniusz Charlos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Piast Choszczno fully deserved thier win.
