The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Francisco Gallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliazar Ungia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Eliazar Ungia got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 minutes, Alfonso de la Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Kfc Moerbeke-Waas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Kfc Moerbeke-Waas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Rutten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Douglas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Freixa was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Douglas Douglas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Douglas Douglas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas Douglas went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 33 minutes, Manu Portmans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kfc Moerbeke-Waas and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliazar Ungia in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Mario Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Eliazar Ungia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julius Bogaerts hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Eliazar Ungia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Eliazar Ungia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Eliazar Ungia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Eliazar Ungia notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eliazar Ungia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Lander Huveneers seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lander Huveneers the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kfc Moerbeke-Waas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lander Huveneers had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Kfc Moerbeke-Waas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lander Huveneers didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mario Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Fernandino couldn't finish the play. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
