Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcus Östman started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute Brian Falck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Östman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 12th minute of play forced Swindon Sweden FF's goalkeeper Reynaldo Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Swindon Sweden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Reynaldo Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Tino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Reynaldo Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Haglund in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brian Falck was slow to take the kick. During this time Swindon Sweden FF's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Panama's goalie and right to Melker Aspengren. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Panama's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Brian Falck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Cotilla. Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Swindon Sweden FF's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Tino came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Mikaelsson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Panama's Reynaldo Tino threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 77 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Garrido. In the 78th minute Marcus Östman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Tino having to interfere. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Östman in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Brian Falck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Algot Spets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Östman in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Östman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melker Aspengren hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
