Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marcus Östman made the kick off which started today's match. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Kurt Haglund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Östman in the 12th minute of play. Brian Falck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Brian Falck came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Swindon Sweden FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Falck couldn't finish the play. Swindon Sweden FF's Reynaldo Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 25th minute of play. Reynaldo Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Brian Falck kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Swindon Sweden FF's Reynaldo Tino. Reynaldo Tino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Marcus Östman struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swindon Sweden FF. After the first half Uruguay were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Filiberto Sauca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Tino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Brian Falck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Tino made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Maximiliano Escribano sent off a good shot on target. When Swindon Sweden FF's Marcus Östman in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Tino having to interfere. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Reynaldo Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Swindon Sweden FF made a substitution. Sten Jespersson replaced Sven-Erik Lindberg. In the 74th match minute, Swindon Sweden FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Mikaelsson to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Tino. Reynaldo Tino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After a rather tough play, Swindon Sweden FF's Brian Falck got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Marcus Östman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82ndth minute of the game Marcus Östman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Östman in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Reynaldo Tino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algot Spets in the 86th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Uruguay supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Uruguay would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
