Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lee Kang started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Lee Kang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. U21 Netherlands's Carsten Maurits proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Netherlands from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as U21 South Korea's Jimmy-Floyd Sung slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carsten Maurits. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. U21 Netherlands's Henk Hoebe got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harry Kane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Seinstra in the 17th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Ed Seinstra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 South Korea's Harry Kane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harry Kane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed Seinstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Ed Seinstra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Geels in the 25th minute of play forced U21 South Korea's goalkeeper Harry Kane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Lee Kang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carsten Maurits was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Remond Zijden struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Harry Kane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Netherlands. Harry Kane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Geels in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute Ed Seinstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Kane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of U21 Netherlands booed when U21 South Korea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. 김 손 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, U21 South Korea's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud Geels came free, but Harry Kane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Remond Zijden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

U21 South Korea's Harry Kane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save U21 South Korea from getting a goal against them. Harry Kane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remond Zijden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remond Zijden in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Kane saved U21 South Korea from getting behind. Harry Kane made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ruud Geels sent off a good shot on target. U21 Netherlands made a substitution. Edgar Baan replaced Donald Hoiting. U21 South Korea's 김 신 was substituted for Jimmy-Floyd Sung. After 70 played minutes U21 South Korea got a freekick which was hit by Jo Haese. Harry Kane was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Henk Hoebe. In the 77th match minute, U21 South Korea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 김 손 to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, 김 손 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jasper Staarman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Harry Kane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 김 신 kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 김 신 hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Harry Kane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos Gerrits in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, U21 South Korea's 기 가 got a free kick in the 91st minute. A hard shot by Henk Hoebe from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Harry Kane's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 93 minutes into the game, 김 신 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Carsten Maurits was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U21 South Korea had won after a very even match.
