Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dave Di Filippo started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Dave Di Filippo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskar Haeger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play. Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. Rolando Noboa stood somewhat misplaced when Dave Di Filippo came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Stålman in the 20th minute of play. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Julian Murillo sped through Hermanö Oilers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oskar Haeger. Dave Di Filippos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Rolando Noboa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dave Di Filippo got free with Rolando Noboa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hermanö Oilers's Horea Popârcea managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Moises Gayoso in the 43 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 44th minute of play forced Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Oskar Haeger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Fraga. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Dave Di Filippo sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Oskar Haeger made a huge save. Peru were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Hermanö Oilers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when Hermanö Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Dalberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oskar Haeger. That made the score 2-2 in the 78 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Peru's Oskar Haeger threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hjalmar Askelöf during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hermanö Oilers getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hjalmar Askelöf hit a great ball. The Hermanö Oilers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
