After 13 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Reinaldo Briceño tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 26 in the game by Reinaldo Briceño from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. Reinaldo Briceño didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 33rd minute. AFC Viola Gigliati's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo Briceño was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes AFC Viola Gigliati got a freekick which was hit by Etxahun Domao. Min Ordoña acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Axel Tasis. After 57 minutes, Reinaldo Briceño made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garin Candina, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaldo Briceño in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reinaldo Briceño's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Briceño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
