Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tincho Palermo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th match minute, Simbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslaw Sidorowicz to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mías Khalifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mías Khalifa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute Nestor Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sabri Ravelli who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Simbo FC's corner Boleslaw Sidorowicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Nestor Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Simbo FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Boleslaw Sidorowicz hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Tincho Palermo struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simbo FC. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Mías Khalifa guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Sancho's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Nestor Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Simbo FC made a substitution. Miliano Sacristán replaced Tincho Palermo. After a rather tough play, Simbo FC's Tincho Palermo got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Honorato Bibiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miliano Sacristán's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miliano Sacristán in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miliano Sacristán went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Felix Montenegro made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Simbo FC's William Weber. After 89 minutes of play, Simbo FC's Miliano Sacristán made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Miliano Sacristán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Simbo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ecuador had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
