Kajetan Sienkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Witalis Gdowik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Kernsdorf SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janusz Pilipiec to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kajetan Sienkowski to make the kick off. Witalis Gdowik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kernsdorf SSA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
