Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2ndth minute of the game Zygmunt Pieknik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play forced Kernsdorf SSA's goalkeeper Piotr Topolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Guerreiro in the 26th minute of play. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-1 when José Guerreiro sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. 43 minutes into the match, Kernsdorf SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Piotr Topolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zygmunt Pieknik to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the last second Piotr Topolski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cristian Sancho in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 54 minutes Kernsdorf SSA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Piotr Topolski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Piotr Topolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Andino's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Kernsdorf SSA's goalkeeper Piotr Topolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Zygmunt Pieknik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 63 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Guedes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kernsdorf SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Kernsdorf SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kernsdorf SSA's Konstanty Major was substituted for Zygmunt Pieknik. Kernsdorf SSA made a substitution. Filip Pietrowski replaced Antoni Betonowy. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Guerreiro in the 69th minute of play. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Guerreiro in the 84th minute of the match. When José Guerreiro came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Kernsdorf SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Guerreiro couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
