With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Alptuğ Boğataş tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas suffered a fractured collar bone after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Venezuela's Roberto Ocampo was substituted for Tomas Illescas. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Lonzo in the 32nd minute of play. Ramon Lonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Lonzo made a kick off. The supporters of MAVİ İSTANBUL FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Bektaş Ali Tunay made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ramon Lonzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Alex Chicote in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's Ahmet Sedat Nasreddin. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's Ramon Lonzo. But to his dismay, Ramon Lonzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Bektaş Ali Tunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gökalp Hızlan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Gökalp Hızlan got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bektaş Ali Tunay. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MAVİ İSTANBUL FC fully deserved thier win.
