Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michel Haaland started the match with the kick off. Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Marcelinho Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 11th minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Barral having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Marcelinho Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute of the match, Ksawery Winnicki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 47 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral. Marcelinho Barral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Trevisan in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Barral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 minutes Roceira SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelinho Barral quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Marcelinho Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Válbson Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcelinho Barral was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Roceira SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelinho Barral. The goal made the score 0-3. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
