When Twierdza Osowiec's Timothy Strauss in the 2nd minute got a chance for a shot 2nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kartal Başar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Kartal Başar sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th match minute, Twierdza Osowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pang Qiang Fan to maneuver through the defense. Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ricardo Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Strauss in the 19th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jaap Stam, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Hendrickx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. 29 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Hendrickx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Billy Hendrickx made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothy Strauss in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Timothy Strauss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaap Stam hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothy Strauss, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timothy Strauss to make the kick off. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothy Strauss in the 56th minute of play. Ricardo Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Strauss in the 60th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Kartal Başar put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Noboa. Luz Tejedor kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Jaap Stam with Billy Hendrickx as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kartal Başar in the 75th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Hendrickx in the 76th minute of the match. When Billy Hendrickx fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Twierdza Osowiec's protests and gave Billy Hendrickx a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Osowiec's Billy Hendrickx got a free kick in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Julian Murillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Hendrickx. That made the score 2-1 after 78 minutes of play. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Billy Hendrickx made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. With an all-out effort, Peru's Ricardo Hendrickx threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Gallo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Peru were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Twierdza Osowiec's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Antonio Tenorio advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-2 in the 87th minute. Ricardo Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th play minute Rafael Gallo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Hendrickx. 2-3. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Billy Hendrickx made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
