Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 21st minute of play forced FC Temeswar Banat's goalkeeper Aimé Holtmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aimé Holtmann having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, FC Temeswar Banat's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Aimé Holtmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Santino Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aimé Holtmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st match minute, FC Temeswar Banat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhou Yan Qi to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Adrian Neubauer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 2-1. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Cazalla in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Temeswar Banat's Benigno Osmundo. In the 40th minute Agapito Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agapito Diaz in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Colombia got a corner. FC Temeswar Banat's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Colombia's Luis Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Aimé Holtmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trendafil Dzhendov in the 44th minute of play. FC Temeswar Banat were furious when Wen Fan Ting was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Aimé Holtmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Cazalla in the 49th minute of the match.

Aimé Holtmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Mastache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aimé Holtmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, FC Temeswar Banat's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Cazalla came free, but Aimé Holtmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, FC Temeswar Banat's goalkeeper Aimé Holtmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Aimé Holtmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 71 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aimé Holtmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agapito Diaz in the 76th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Temeswar Banat's zone, Abram Secada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aimé Holtmann came out of the goal and Abram Secada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute of the match, Ignacio Mastache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aimé Holtmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 92 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Trendafil Dzhendov came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Zhou Yan Qi in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. After 95 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
