Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evert Holm started the match with the kick off. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Evert Holm tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain Goats's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Bo Rosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börge Karlsson in the 9th minute. In the 12th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain Goats's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Bo Rosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Karl-Åke Lundblad in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Moises Tafalla. Bo Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 34th minute of play. Evert Holm scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Vincent Blom scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 2-0. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Evert Holm tried to sneak it across the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Holm in the 57th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Blue Mountain Goats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Ekeroth to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Bo Rosen made a huge save. In the 67th minute Evert Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Evert Holm got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th minute, Vincent Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 86 minutes, Evert Holm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Mountain Goats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Holm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes Blue Mountain Goats got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Blom. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evert Holm in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Many of Honduras's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Honduras may have spent more time on the ball, but Blue Mountain Goats were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
