In the 23rd match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Sendoa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in NECKER49's zone, Jonathan Alphonse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Montes came out of the goal and Jonathan Alphonse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Haiti's Noel Seide got control of the ball when Cirilo Nisio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Alphonse scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Montes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Alphonse in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Montes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Alphonse hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Jean Marie Alcius in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by NECKER49's Dionisio Leizarraga. 41 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Ernso Constant came free, but Jose Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernso Constant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Montes having to interfere. Jose Montes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Alphonse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Alphonse was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Dionisio Leizarraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. NECKER49's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Leizarraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goalkeeper Jose Montes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernso Constant. Jose Montes was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Ernso Constant capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernso Constant really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernso Constant got free with Jose Montes in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jonathan Alphonse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Alphonse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Montes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haiti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
