In the 22nd minute of the match Minerul Baita -MM- got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Ferenț ran over to the corner to take the kick. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Felix Ferenț was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Allan Shearer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 25 minutes into the game, Allan Shearer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 42nd minute of the match, Ciprian Alexe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Shearer in the 58th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Ciprian Alexe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ciprian Alexe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ionuț Vasiliu was substituted for Gordon Miner. In the 80thth minute of the game Niculae Şantău who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Qiu Wei Ting sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Şantău in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cédric Payen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cédric Payen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Minerul Baita -MM- had played much better football throughout.
