But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hieronim Literski couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ege Vecih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ege Vecih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. AC Pitt Bier's Ege Vecih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 52nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ege Vecih. Ege Vecih dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ege Vecih made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute. Damien van Putten's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damien van Putten helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AC Pitt Bier getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Damien van Putten hit a great ball. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ege Vecih made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Ege Vecih however easily saved by the left post. Ignat Dichkov kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Ignat Dichkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donny Slot, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Joost Crans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, AC Pitt Bier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Heebels to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Slot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bram Smits came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Heebels might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Heebels ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Slot in the 95th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Ege Vecih however easily saved by the left post. Ege Vecih was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Ecuador played a much better game than AC Pitt Bier and deserved their victory. The AC Pitt Bier players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
