Donny Slot scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Pitt Bier's goalkeeper Ege Vecih, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Donny Slots short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Literski in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Albert Heebels made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donny Slot made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donny Slot in the 53rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. AC Pitt Bier made a substitution. Pascall de Vries replaced Damien van Putten. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a AC Pitt Bier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AC Pitt Bier:s goal. Ege Vecih was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Patricio Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patricio Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
