Tobiasz Wawak kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Tytus Wielowiejski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Kadzidlowen's Emil Przebendowski got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Leon Burufski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herbert Gendolla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teobald Giertych's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobald Giertych helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Burufski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Burufski having to interfere. Leon Burufski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Burufski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Juan Sebastián Puig fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. If Herbert Gendolla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
