Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Sântimbrean came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Sântimbrean in the 31st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Paul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Dino Zoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Isac Covataru kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 54 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Zoff saved Cormoranii -MM- from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Cormoranii -MM-'s zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Zoff came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Cormoranii -MM- from getting a goal against them. Isac Covataru kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Zoff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Ramiro Paul notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dino Zoff was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Gaona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 78 minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Sântimbrean came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes, Ramiro Paul made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 92nd minute of play.
