The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tancredo Manguyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Jesus Allu's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Mario Jesus Allu put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Zebulón Diaz de Andrade. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tancredo Manguyague, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matteo Fierro in the 40 minute of the game. Snorlax FC's Szczepan Mazierz got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Jonathan Venegas was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 58 minutes of play, Snorlax FC's Mario Jesus Allu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebulón Diaz de Andrade in the 61st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Jesus Allu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Mario Jesus Allu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Mario Jesus Allu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zebulón Diaz de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Snorlax FC made a substitution. Tibalt Bruna replaced Zebulón Diaz de Andrade. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Jesus Allu in the 81st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Szczepan Mazierz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Snorlax FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Snorlax FC's Mario Jesus Allu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Jesus Allu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Aldana in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Mario Jesus Allu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Snorlax FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
