Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çakır Baycan in the 6th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Predators's Çakır Baycan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 18th minute Çakır Baycan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Cyryl Bojanowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Semir Jakubović having to make a save. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyryl Bojanowski in the 29th minute. In the 31st match minute, Predators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buğra Tuğlu to maneuver through the defense. Çakır Baycan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 43 minutes into the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Çakır Baycan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Cyryl Bojanowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Predators booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Predators's Gylippus Nikolakakos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çakır Baycan in the 59th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Predators's Semir Jakubović. Semir Jakubović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Predators's Semir Jakubović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Predators from getting a goal against them. When Predators's Çakır Baycan in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The corner led Predators's Buğra Tuğlu to a score. 4-2 in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Çakır Baycan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Predators's Saltuk Rahmi got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 87th minute, Pars Ongel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Semir Jakubović in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Predators's Semir Jakubović got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Predators's Çakır Baycan in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çakır Baycan in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Predators.
