Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Ünsal Sendur started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 11 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Ünsal Sendur came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Zézinho Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Ünsal Sendur took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 26th minute of play forced Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Mickaël Maris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Nova Iguaçu MZFC defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mickaël Maris. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mickaël Maris should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Ünsal Sendur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mickaël Maris came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Abram Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mickaël Maris having to make a save. 38 minutes in the game Orlando Tafalla did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Santino Seco. Ovidio Marko got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edu Vaz. In the 41st minute, Colombia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ünsal Sendur fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 43rd minute, Valdo de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's attentive Luiz Fábio de Medeiros managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Garrido made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Ünsal Sendur notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mickaël Maris was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Andrézinho Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ünsal Sendur in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Ignacio Mastache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mickaël Maris. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Mastache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ünsal Sendur in the 85th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's attentive Heitor Ferreira managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Garrido made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Ünsal Sendur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Fábio de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Kevin Mastache took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mickaël Maris. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Mickaël Maris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
