Anthon Svanér hit a great ball. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Kurdish Warriors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. 24 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wictor Hagström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niclas Hjälm in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 29th minute. Niclas Hjälm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. FC Kurdish Warriors's Wictor Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 34th minute of play. The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Timmy Hasselqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niclas Hjälm couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Myhr in the 71st minute of the match. Axel Tasis ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 87 minutes, Niclas Hjälm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kurdish Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niclas Hjälm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Arne Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Gustafsson in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the FC Kurdish Warriors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
