El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Jaszyna in the 10th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Yepes to maneuver through the defense. LUFC Kraków's Tobiasz Gorzkiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Fudalej in the 24th minute of the match. Zula Maruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of El Salvador booed when LUFC Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jedrzej Lerych didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Konrad Fudalej managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LUFC Kraków's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Fudalej was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Feliks Jaszyna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of El Salvador booed when LUFC Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jedrzej Lerych didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Tamayo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Fudalej came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zula Maruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Konrad Fudalej's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Fudalej, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Abram Luque in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zula Maruda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. El Salvador were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after LUFC Kraków's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mateo Leguizamo took the corner. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Zula Maruda made a huge save. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Jaszyna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in LUFC Kraków's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zula Maruda came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 minutes, Abram Luque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the LUFC Kraków players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grzegorz Michnik kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Abram Luque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
