In the 8thth minute of the game Niilo Mikkola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Pinheiro having to interfere. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dinei Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Dinei Pinheiro made a huge save. Dinei Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jacobo Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Pinheiro having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Jacobo Casado made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3.
