Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, VfL Bad Nenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Lucrețiu Brătescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Brătescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Themis Papadimoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Róbert Štriker struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Bad Nenndorf. Lucrețiu Brătescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Róbert Štriker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Themis Papadimoulis sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Themis Papadimoulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 37thth minute of the game Themis Papadimoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Volker Koplin hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Lucrețiu Brătescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustín Saelices the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Themis Papadimoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themis Papadimoulis in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Themis Papadimoulis took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0.

In the 51st minute Lv Kun Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lv Kun Liang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themis Papadimoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Zsolt Székely shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VfL Bad Nenndorf reached it. Róbert Štriker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute of the match Kang Yun Chao shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zsolt Székely took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themis Papadimoulis in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themis Papadimoulis in the 72nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucrețiu Brătescu having to interfere. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Roland Holthuis was substituted for Themis Papadimoulis. The corner led VfL Bad Nenndorf's Zsolt Székely to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Holthuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 83 played minutes VfL Bad Nenndorf got a freekick which was hit by Volker Koplin. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Holthuis in the 85th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Volker Koplin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Lucrețiu Brătescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador.
