In the 17th minute, Justo Lukach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético da Colina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of Atlético da Colina booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Lukach, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Justo Lukach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Lukach in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justo Lukach in the 24th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Lukach in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Justo Lukach notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Justo Lukach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Set Master ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Justo Lukach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Justo Lukach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. 42 minutes into the game, one of Costa Rica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Set Master was the one to do the kick off. The Atlético da Colina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. The audience was convinced that Justo Lukach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Justo Lukach might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Lukach ran back to his position shaking his head. Atlético da Colina's Denílson Oliveira was substituted for Lucas Moura. Diego Souza took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Diego Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Atlético da Colina's Diego Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Diego Souza put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Diego Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Souza in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Diego Souza sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. When the referee ended the match the Atlético da Colina players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
