After 20 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Galtero was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Loco Cabezon getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rogelio Abajas hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Galtero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonides Galtero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of the match. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Andino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonides Galtero. That made the score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. Modesto Boni replaced Esteve Perico. 68 minutes into the match, Loco Cabezon's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Leonides Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
