After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 12th minute. Dalmacio Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estudiantes de rio IV's Emilio Palos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 15th minute of play. Dalmacio Musko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Dalmacio Musko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Dalmacio Musko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmacio Musko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Musko got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estudiantes de rio IV's Emilio Palos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 25th minute of play. Dalmacio Musko in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 44th minute, Estudiantes de rio IV's Segundo Gaxan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Dalmacio Musko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Emilio Palos made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Dalmacio Musko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Musko came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Palos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute of the game Jorge Sainz made a throw-in which Camilo Franco played forward. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Musko couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Estudiantes de rio IV booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
