Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Niceto Virila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Lapurdi came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes, Baldomero Lapurdi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Lapurdi got free with Camilo Freixa in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18thth minute of the game Baldomero Lapurdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Fontirroig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Virila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Nuevo Horizonte's zone, Eduardo Fontirroig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Virila came out of the goal and Eduardo Fontirroig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niceto Virila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 29th minute of play. Mario Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Virila having to interfere. Niceto Virila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Rutenio got free with Camilo Freixa in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Nuevo Horizonte's Baldomero Lapurdi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 42nd minute Honorio Aztore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Bolivia's Mario Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niceto Virila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Eduardo Fontirroig might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Virila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Fontirroig ran back to his position shaking his head. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Leo Rutenio's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Rutenio helped the player get up and apologised. Bolivia's Fernando Navarro was substituted for Eduardo Fontirroig. Leo Rutenio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Nuevo Horizonte getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hernan Gumaro hit a great ball. Baldomero Lapurdi took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 62 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso de la Cruz. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Lapurdi in the 65th minute of the match. Fernando Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Fernandino got free with Niceto Virila in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 played minutes, Nuevo Horizonte's Honorio Aztore shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Freixa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nuevo Horizonte reached it. In the 81st minute, Bolivia's Fernando Navarro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niceto Virila. Niceto Virila yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After 84 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. Feliberto Ramirez hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Nuevo Horizonte's Niceto Virila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Nuevo Horizonte from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Baldomero Lapurdi sped through Bolivia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa.
