The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Miguel Miralles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Erik Nyström came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Lillhärdal BF's Christer Rönn got a free kick in the 14th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 26th minute of play forced Lillhärdal BF's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Nyström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Erik Nyström was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After 33 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Erik Nyström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sten Högström's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sten Högström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Sten Högström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lillhärdal BF's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the game, Panama's Abraham Alguacil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Erik Nyström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 48th minute, Christer Rönn fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcos Cotilla, passed just outside the right post.

53 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Erik Nyström. Tomas Berganza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Dylan Sarmiento's late challenge caught a Lillhärdal BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dylan Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lillhärdal BF booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Panama's Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. Lillhärdal BF's Sten Högström got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Sten Högström off the ground. The supporters of Panama booed when Lillhärdal BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Högström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Erik Nyström made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. Abraham Alguacil's late challenge caught a Lillhärdal BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Alguacil helped the player get up and apologised. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lillhärdal BF throughout the match.
