Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Yuan Di Xing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Jacek Krzynowek was slow to take the kick. During this time TAXI-MM-'s players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Robert Baita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Martin Alexa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuan Di Xing in the 45th minute. TAXI-MM- were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacek Krzynowek took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuan Di Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuan Di Xing in the 62nd minute of the match. After 67 played minutes TAXI-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Celipe. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Martin Alexa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuan Di Xing in the 95th minute of play. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but TAXI-MM- were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
