Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan-Román Riquelme's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan-Román Riquelme helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Honduras booed when ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Román Riquelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Eneto was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Moises Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Eneto came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner was taken by Juan-Román Riquelme in the 49th minute. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Juan-Román Riquelme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victoriano Eneto. Edmundo Espiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Victoriano Eneto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Benito Frances got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Ubelteso in the 65th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Ubelteso in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Jeremias Ubendu made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pascual Fidele. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Eneto having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Victoriano Eneto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Ubelteso, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan-Román Riquelme took the corner. 82 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 the free kick. In the 82nd minute, Edmundo Espiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 99th minute of play forced ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's goalkeeper Victoriano Eneto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
