Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With 10 minutes on the clock, Efrain Moruga commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 11 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Holmberg. Joseph Holmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. 24 minutes into the game, Joseph Holmberg lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Joseph Holmberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jim Meck did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Benito Sanz 32 minutes into the match. Hugo Ferrant made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Joseph Holmberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joseph Holmberg really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Joseph Holmberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 41st minute, Joseph Holmberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Joseph Holmberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jim Meck to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Joseph Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joseph Holmberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joseph Holmberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute Joseph Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Ferrant made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Gullesson in the 70th minute of play. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a Samba Fotboll U21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. Oskar Gullesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Puig came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sam Yang could save by the left post. Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 76 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson. If Zygmunt Koprowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Koprowski in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes, Hugo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Samba Fotboll U21 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 87 minutes, Oskar Gullesson made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Koprowski in the 90th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Samba Fotboll U21 got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Frascuelo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Koprowski in the 98th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
