Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Desfachatados F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Francis. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Esteve Pello. Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Admon in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Pello was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Esteve Pello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 12th minute of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Pello having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Esteve Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Pello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Esteve Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Esteve Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Desfachatados F.C.'s Narciso Pudes got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 34 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteve Pello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Pello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Esteve Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Pello having to interfere. The Desfachatados F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin Cambranes was the one to do the kick off. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Esteve Pello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After some careless play in the Desfachatados F.C. defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Pello. The Desfachatados F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Pello should have stopped the shot. In the 59th match minute, Desfachatados F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Donostia to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Esteve Pello in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Esteve Pello however easily saved by the left post. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Pello. Esteve Pello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Desfachatados F.C.'s Javier Piearres was substituted for Melquiades Ritchie. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 70th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Esteve Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Esteve Pello successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Desfachatados F.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Javier Piearres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Desfachatados F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
