Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Днепр ФК's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladislav Maksimychev came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Днепр ФК's Michal Pazdan was substituted for Uwe Askri. In the 61st minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Erwan Carnot in the 63rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jonathan Ferrant's left hand side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Calisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Днепр ФК's Ralf Rapp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dmitriy Bogaenko came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erwan Carnot was slow to take the kick. During this time Днепр ФК's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Michal Pazdan at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Venezuela. 11-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Dmitriy Bogaenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Днепр ФК's supporters rose to their feet, but Dmitriy Bogaenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
