The audience was convinced that Fredrik Terwenhout's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredrik Terwenhout in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Joris De Raeve tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Joris De Raeve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limburg United's supporters rose to their feet, but Joris De Raeve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sean Van Dijck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute of the match. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Limburg United were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
