An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Luque in the 5th minute of play forced Zakon Upodobań Sportowych's goalkeeper Lukasz Gajewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lukasz Gajewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mateo Leguizamo's late challenge caught a Zakon Upodobań Sportowych's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Leguizamo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Leguizamo to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Ricardo Zorita successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Mielak in the 29th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Zakon Upodobań Sportowych were awarded a corner. Janusz Dawiec went to the cornerflag to take it. If Mateo Leguizamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Zakon Upodobań Sportowych got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Radziszewski. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Janusz Dawiec made a kick off. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Mielak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Zakon Upodobań Sportowych's Lukasz Gajewski got control of the ball when Mateo Leguizamo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zakon Upodobań Sportowych's Lukasz Gajewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Zakon Upodobań Sportowych from getting a goal against them. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Lukasz Gajewski made a huge save. Pankracy Ruzicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Mielak in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, Zakon Upodobań Sportowych's Lukasz Gajewski got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Lukasz Gajewski made a huge save. Luis Rubio hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 82nd play minute Moises Fernandino came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lukasz Gajewski. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Zakon Upodobań Sportowych's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukasz Gajewski came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play.
