Kurniawan Bisri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to PHOENIX SC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rochy Revaldy hit a great ball. After 10 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurniawan Bisri was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurniawan Bisri saved PHOENIX SC from getting behind. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurniawan Bisri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, PHOENIX SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kulisaya Bang to maneuver through the defense. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurniawan Bisri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurniawan Bisri having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Kurniawan Bisri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

PHOENIX SC's Widhie Supriatna was substituted for Rochy Revaldy. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kulisaya Bang in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurniawan Bisri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 68th minute of play. PHOENIX SC made a substitution. Komar Pahlevi replaced Egi Ryacudu. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kulisaya Bang, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute PHOENIX SC were awarded a corner. Genta Durahman went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on PHOENIX SC's corner Genta Durahman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 81st minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82ndth minute of the game Komar Pahlevi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Kurniawan Bisri in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ujo Haryanto Ie hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurniawan Bisri having to interfere. Luis Andino made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play.
