Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Alzaga FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ago Vaasna came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Alzaga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ago Vaasna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Alzaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Miro to maneuver through the defense. Ago Vaasna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute Adrián Czornomaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Jose Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Jose Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Jose Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The supporters of Alzaga FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mané Garrincha in the 27th minute. Ago Vaasna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Alzaga FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adrián Czornomaz took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Bernardo Franco to score against Julio Vera in Ecuador's goal. 2-1 after 43 minutes. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Murillo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute of play forced Alzaga FC's goalkeeper Ago Vaasna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ago Vaasna. Ago Vaasna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Adrián Czornomaz made a great header on Alzaga FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Murillo in the 61st minute of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ago Vaasna made a huge save. Alzaga FC's Jiang Shi Shi was substituted for Pan Lang Bin. 74 minutes into the game, Luis Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alzaga FC's Bernardo Franco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 75th minute Emanuel Oliverio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match Alzaga FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrián Czornomaz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Oliverio in the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Alzaga FC defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ago Vaasna. The Alzaga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ago Vaasna should have stopped the shot. Leon Goretzka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Goretzka came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Alzaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrián Czornomaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
