Srećko Milosavljević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Lazar Milosavljević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Srećko Milosavljević capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Srećko Milosavljević really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 19 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lazar Milosavljević was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Gabriel Barbosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-1. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Lazar Milosavljević didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Srećko Milosavljević in the 29th minute of play. Srećko Milosavljević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After 35 minutes of play, Фк РАДНИК Колонија's Srećko Milosavljević made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Gabriel Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 58 minutes on the clock, Samuca das Neves commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 65 minutes into the match, Фк РАДНИК Колонија's goalkeeper Lazar Milosavljević had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Wally Casey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazar Milosavljević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gabriel Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gabriel Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
