Roberto Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Diego Frasquito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Venezia FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Abbondanzieri having to interfere. Diego Frasquito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezia FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. With 53 minutes on the clock, Antonio Arias commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Frasquito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Frasquito in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Frasquito in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Roberto Abbondanzieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Quinito in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Roberto Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezia FC's 杜彬远 got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute Angel Quinito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
