Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diego Frasquito started the match with the kick off. 13 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Roberto Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Luca Rouco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto Abbondanzieri quite easily take care of the ball. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Mexico's Luca Rouco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Salvadore in the 24th minute of the match. Thibau Van Mellaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezia FC's Angel Guillelmus got a free kick in the 27th minute. Pastor Soter was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Venezia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. The referee gave Mexico a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joel Gaona, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezia FC's Roberto Abbondanzieri. 0-3. 38 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Roberto Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 40th minute of the match. A well done corner resulted in Luca Zorita drilling the ball in to score 0-4 behind Venezia FC's goalkeeper. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Roberto Abbondanzieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Bazkoare hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Roberto Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezia FC's goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Abbondanzieri. Venezia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Frasquito in the 78th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Salvadore came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Luca Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Roberto Abbondanzieri, making the score, 0-8. In the 93rd minute, Diego Frasquito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezia FC.
