Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Alonso in the 13th minute of play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Raúl Riquelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Blas Urtungo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blas Urtungo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Amado Muc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Piara Lider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amado Muc succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 36th playminute. After having played for 43 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Enzo Iago hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Enmanuel in the 78th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Raúl Riquelme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Pacorro made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gerardo Pozo hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Inter Miami CF were the better team. Inter Miami CF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
