Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Steve Hyuga made the kick off which started today's match. Gabino Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Steve Hyuga made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paolo Pereyra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Hyuga got free with Julio Vera in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Pereyra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. When Gabino Silva came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ManagerZone Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabino Silva couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Luis Andino sped through ManagerZone Academy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paolo Pereyra. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Paolo Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced ManagerZone Academy's goalkeeper Paolo Pereyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paolo Pereyra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Steve Hyuga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 52 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Paolo Pereyra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Hyuga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ManagerZone Academy were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Feliciano Mitxel took the corner. Gabino Silva made a great header on ManagerZone Academy's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, ManagerZone Academy's Paolo Pereyra got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th match minute, ManagerZone Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantinos Kermelidis to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Hyuga came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Feliciano Mitxel:s penalty. In the 79th minute, Feliciano Mitxel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ManagerZone Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Paolo Pereyra made a huge save. After 86 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gabino Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. ManagerZone Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabino Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 minutes, Steve Hyuga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ManagerZone Academy and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ManagerZone Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Hyuga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the game Juan Sebastián Puig made a throw-in which Luis Andino played forward. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ManagerZone Academy had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
