Ludvig Lund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. 13 minutes into the game, Dylan Sarmiento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gnaget United FC the free kick. In the 17th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronnie Hellström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. After having played for 22 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Gnaget United FC's Siro Benvido dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 29th minute Siro Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gnaget United FC's Ronnie Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Benvido in the 33rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Benvido in the 35th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Siro Benvido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 61 minutes into the game, Gnaget United FC's Siro Benvido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. In the 66th minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Carita made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tomas Berganza however managed to control. 77 minutes into the match, Carl Kling notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Kling came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Bogdan Utretskiy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogdan Utretskiy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Fabián de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Kling in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Gnaget United FC's Carl Kling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gnaget United FC.
