But to his dismay, Piara Santo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. René Stam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piara Santo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After 8 minutes Las Palmas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ignacio Ereinotz who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ignacio Ereinotz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this René Stam quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andy Gimm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Cholewa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Las Palmas's Cayetano Esdras got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piara Santo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg René Stam saved Las Palmas from getting behind. After 31 played minutes Las Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Frederik. René Stam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piara Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piara Santo scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of René Stam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Andy Gimm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 秦西星 made a kick off. 秦西星 hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Piara Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without René Stam having to make a save. StardustRevolution made a substitution. Thanks to some nice moves Anier Sandaili could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which René Stam however easily saved by the left post. René Stam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Eskuin in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, StardustRevolution's Genaro Eskuin made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. René Stam was left in no man's land by his defense there!
