Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off which started today's match. If Mihnea Berceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Radu Borza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Radu Borza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Chevalier, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Fabian Lucescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Chevaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Fabian Lucescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Sorin Gurgui from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Lautaro Navarro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Chevaliers FC's Fabian Lucescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Lucescu. Chevaliers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The throw-in from Gică Hagi in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Fabian Lucescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sorin Gurgui struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chevaliers FC. The supporters of Honduras booed when Chevaliers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Gurgui didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Berceanu came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chevaliers FC's Radu Borza got a free kick in the 68th minute. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Mihnea Berceanu struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chevaliers FC. In the 74th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Lucescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Mihnea Berceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Mihnea Berceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moises Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Lucescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sorin Gurgui went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
